Transformation and Concert Dreams

There was some kind of virus circulating that transformed things when a carrier touched them. The changes seemed totally arbitrary, computer screens were turned into miniature dragons and small animals became lurching slime coated skeletons. These creatures changed other objects they touched but seemed to have no control over what they would change into.
I remember being very concerned about being infected but later in the dream I had the ability to change things without having been transformed myself. I demonstrated this for some high school friends.

I woke up with my girlfriend in my bedroom and we got dressed to go out. She was wearing a white boy scout uniform shirt covered with medals. I asked her how she found it with so much decoration and she explained the meaning of each medal.
We met my family at Target and waded through the crowded aisles until we found the line for a concert that was being held in the building. When we sat down in a room that looked similar to an elementary school auditorium I noticed we had changed clothes and my girlfriend was wearing a blue evening gown.
