T-shirts
Posted on June 11, 2005
Coming to you live from the Mr. Karaoke in Saijo is an amazing update. You may have heard of T-shirt Hell before, but here is something really special for you. They have 2 sections, Hell and Worse than Hell. Worse than Hell is full of pretty timely and offensive shirts, about the tsunami or school shootings, etc. Their argument has always been “Don’t get mad at us, get mad at the people who actually WEAR these shirts.” That makes good enough sense to me, and I always check the site to see what new madness they churn out. The last time I checked they decided to remove the Worse section, which I thought was pretty surprising. So I check it again today and what do you know, the crazy shirts are back. Why? Just read this.
Who would try to kill someone over a t-shirt? Am I missing something? Are they really that bad? Does this guy run around with a sign on that says “I make those shirts”? A MARTYR? Easy there buddy, its not like you’re saving the world and free speech for all eternity with a shirt that says something about re-killing Jesus. Still, assassination attempts are pretty sweet, and the fact that this one was maybe triggered by a shirt is fantastic. Then again, it could have just been food poisoning.
State of the Internet

It may be fixed soon. They already played both their “unplug it and plug it back in” and “its not our service it’s your computer that’s broken” cards, so the next time I have to take a whole day off to try to deal with it I might actually get it fixed. Or I might just find a new provider. Thanks for nothing Biglobe!
