How to Teach
Sunday, April 17th, 2005
Some quality teaching instructions from the junior high school level textbook’s teacher’s manual. “Do this activity until all students finish or give up in despair.” GIVE UP IN DESPAIR. Fantastic. Here’s what I imagine:
Megumi: Lo Ayumi, I cannot find any more differences in these two schedules.
Ayumi: Woe is me Megumi, neither can I.
Megumi: Let us retire to our bedchambers.
Ayumi: Yes….IN DESPAIR.
That’s really what I’m going for in every class, so I guess I’m on the right track.
PS. I got a haircut

From the school website: Lost in Translation

Yes, that’s right folks, it’s an English school. Here’s an even better example from another branch:
“Nana tried really have to improve her fluency past 1 years. Also, she started taking the TOEIC Class to get a knack and score high at the next test. I’m proud of having an enthusiastic student like Nana in my class and I hope her dreams come true.”
Let’s learning English!
Size of the Stick
Friday, April 1st, 2005

So I recently traded my shamefully large PS2 for a very very small one. Now it is tiny, like a piece of cereal. My HORI arcade stick on the other hand is very large. I read somewhere that it weighs like 14lbs, but I don’t have a scale to confirm or deny that. I just know it’s about as large as my VCR. I assume the insides are completely hollow or filled with beautiful hopes and dreams. It helps me play ESP Galuda so I don’t care either way.
